In the begining....

God created amplifiers that go to 11, coffee, and vans. Pretty much the only stuff you need for touring, right? Sorry scholars, I can't cite my sources here. What am I talking about? I dunno let me figure that out...

Ok, so here's the deal. We are in the planning stages of our 2nd tour. For glorious tales of our first tour, check out our older blog entries. For spectacular tales of this upcoming tour, stay tuned! Follow this blog, we promise to entertain you, and let you live vicariously through the life of real live rockstars.

Right?

We are starting out in Portland, Oregon, and will head North in August from the 17 through the 24. Yeah, yeah... I can hear it already, "8 days?! WHIMPS!!!" But see we have these things called jobs... and this thing called gas money... both of which are inversely correlated with touring.

So, save it. We'll make up for it when we become famous rockstars. Then you'll be saying "Hey I made fun of them one time!"

Anyway... If you've bothered to read this far, you still know almost nothing of what I'm trying to talk about. Let me elaborate. We are going to the following cities:
Manzanita, Oregon
Tacoma, Washington
Seattle, Washington
Bellevue, Washington
Bellingham, Washington
Vancouver, BC, Canada
Olympia, Washington
And somewhere we'll play in Portland also. Now you're saying "HOLY CRAP CANADA!" And you are much more interested in this tour! Yes, we are going to be INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTARS. The kind of rockstars that go to DIFFERENT NATIONS in order to satisfy all those demanding fans. All of them.

Some things that are different about this tour than last are we are going by ourselves, not with another band (good and bad), we will not have iPhone GPS acess (REALLY BAD), we booked this tour ourselves, we have different haircuts.. Etc....

Like I said, we are in the planning stages of this tour. Some things we need to get done include:
-Hannah needs to get a passport
-We need to book some venues still
-We need to locate/contact some radio stations and record shops still
-We need to find lodging for ALL dates
-We need to figure out our transportation configuration
-And finally, budgeting! (Is it sad I will find this fun? I'm a business major...)

OK!!! Thanks for reading!!!
